Lenora Claire, Bye Felipe, Ending Dick Pics, and Rae Threat Exhibiting in SF!

Happy Pride Month! And Yay, Summer!

Here’s some news from our newsletter!

Lenora Claire Sits With Congressman Adam Schiff

Lenora Claire is one of the amazing women we’re profiling for our new project: a short documentary series about the online harassment of women. This is a really important and personal topic for us, and one even President Obama recently singled out as a growing epidemic. Lenora is lobbying for more laws to protect women and she recently had a chance to sit down with Los Angeles Congressman Adam Schiff. We are super excited about the documentary project and can’t wait to share it with you all! We stand with Lenora and other women like her!

California goes to the polls today! LA dwellers, please consider Adam Schiff while you’re at the ballots today!

Bye Felipe: End Dick Pics!

Threat Films recently had a chance to provide support to Bye Felipe as they produced this PSA as part of a petition to make sending a ‘dick pic’ against Facebook’s community guidelines.

Bye Felipe is a project which exposes the reality of the harassment and abuse women receive online every day. Creator Alexandra Tweten is working with Change.org to have things like unsolicited dick pics and online harassment be taken seriously by Facebook and other social media outlets.
